To our fabulous clients and prospectives….we feel your pain. You’ve been urged to jump on the social media bandwagon and have Facebook down to a science, but now, it’s time to tweet. We’ve stressed the importance of having a voice on Twitter, yet you really just don’t want to do it. Too time consuming and does anyone really care what you have to say anyway? The answer is yes! Six months into my first PR job, I was having one of those “days.” Everything was a challenge. By mid afternoon this resulted in a total meltdown over a media tip sheet stuck in a fax machine. (Yes, I come from the days when releases/tip sheets were sent via fax and mail!) My boss walked in, handed me one of those rough bathroom paper towels and with no emotion or sympathy stated, “Honey, smooth seas don’t make good sailors.” (read more)
