Jody Diamond

As president of Diamond Public Relations, Jody Diamond leads with a forward thinking, relentless, savvy style. With 15 years experience in publicity and public relations, Diamond cut her teeth in the business as a unit publicist for major motion pictures and film actors in Los Angeles. In 1999 she packed up, leaving her hometown and driving east, landing in Miami where she found an outlet for her wanderlust through travel PR. Making the switch from film/entertainment to travel was seamless and she was quickly recognized in the business as someone who brought a fresh and distinctive approach to this field. Diamond was hired by a boutique travel PR firm where for 7 years she spearheaded campaigns for destinations and a wide range of luxury, boutique and chain resorts. Recognizing her unique and relentless approach was appreciated and valued by clients, Diamond was quickly promoted to Vice President where in addition to her public relations duties she spent the majority of her time growing the firm’s business. In 2007, Diamond decided to do it for herself and opened the doors to Diamond Public Relations.

Diamond oversees all client business with an intuitiveness and strategic understanding of the media and their needs. She ensures that all media outreach is individually tailored, strategic and effective. With an innate ability to understand both the needs of the media and her clients, Diamond forms long-lasting relationships through her refreshingly honest and straightforward approach, earning her the respect of both media and peers alike.

Kara Rosner

Kara Rosner, a founding partner of Diamond Public Relations, is the ideal combination of PR professional and media insider. With her finger constantly on the pulse of her clients and the media, Rosner is able to outline and achieve the results that define a successful PR campaign. Her industry experience is immeasurable and includes leading account teams for clients that include Caribbean islands, brand name and boutique resorts, high-end spas and real estate developments. Rosner’s strategic insight, ability to multi-task and her unyielding drive for perfection make her an invaluable part of the Diamond PR team. A South Florida native, Rosner is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Public Relations.

April Byrd

The third and final founding partner of Diamond Public Relations, April Byrd, offers clients a well-rounded PR approach with expertise and experience that ranges from large-scale promotions to media events to television production coordination. Dynamic, energetic and intuitive, Byrd’s forward thinking and communication skills help put clients on the media front lines. She has been an integral part of PR campaigns ranging from entire island representation to individual boutique hotels. Always one to stand out from the crowd and think outside the box, Byrd is a graduate of the University of Florida’s School of Communications with a B.S. in Public Relations.
