As president of Diamond Public Relations, Jody Diamond leads with a forward thinking, relentless, savvy style. With 15 years experience in publicity and public relations, Diamond cut her teeth in the business as a unit publicist for major motion pictures and film actors in Los Angeles. She began her career in PR in the Northeast at Connecticut-based Cronin & Company, Inc., a full-service multi-discipline agency, where she worked with clients like McDonalds, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Garelick Farms.
Sarah later joined the team at Regan Communications, a Boston-based public relations firm, where she continued to hone her talent for PR. With over five years of hospitality management experience, Lara Clayton has quickly become a valuable member of the Diamond PR team. A graduate of the Hotel and Restaurant Management Program at Eastern Michigan University, and with an internship at Walt Disney World under her belt, she brings an enthusiasm for the hospitality industry as a whole. After getting her start with Marriott International managing sales for two extended stay hotels in Columbus, Ohio she landed in Miami, Florida as a regional sales manager. From there she was able to leverage her sales skills and apply them to select service hotels up to high end resorts such as the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton brands and discovered her passion for the luxury tier along the way. She moved onto LXR Luxury Resorts next as a Regional Sales Manager for a collection of resorts on the west coast of Florida in Naples, Sanibel Island and Captiva Island. Deciding to seek a new challenge in the travel and tourism industry, she found that hospitality focused public relations fit the bill. Her experience up until this point has brought her a clear understanding of the resort client and their priorities which makes her a strong communicator on their behalf.
